Further, she has participated in multiple appeals at both the state and federal levels. She has worked on more than 30 EEO cases that went to hearing and has been the lead attorney on Capital Felony cases. Attorney Kurtz is regularly sought out by Federal Employees requesting her services before the EEOC or MSPB because of her experience and trial skills. Attorney Kurtz works with private sector and Federal employees dealing with prohibited personnel practices, Whistleblower law, Age Discrimination, Religious Discrimination, Disability Discrimination, violations of the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and many other aspects of employee/employer relations.
Having lived most of his life in Central Florida, Patrick earned his BA degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida. He went on to earn his law degree from St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens. In law school, Patrick distinguished himself as a board member ATLA (now known as the American Association for Justice) and as a competitor on the International Moot Court team. Patrick also served on the school’s Committee for Academic Integrity. After law school Patrick returned to Central Florida where he practiced with the Public Defender’s Office in the Ninth Judicial Circuit and then with the Florida Department of Health. Serving the community is a major part of Patrick’s life. He has been involved many community organizations. Among these is Meals on Wheels, the Boys and Girls Club, Organizing for Action, and Enroll America. Patrick’s commitment to service continues with his work at the Law Office of Clint Curtis and Associates where he provides his client’s with quality representation in many areas including Contract, Family, and Administrative law.
